Bookings:
All bookings must be done online prior to the beginning of the lesson. Go to our website and follow the booking links.
Booking Conditions:
- All course bookings are subject to availability.
- Bookings are non-refundable after purchase from ‘10is Academy’, unless We are presented with a valid medical certificate declaring the participant unfit to attend.
- It is Your responsibility to check that You have been enrolled for the correct ‘10is Academy’ course, and that You are aware of the correct timings of this class.
- All coaching courses will not run during school holidays (excluding camps). Clients will be advised by the coach when the last session of term is, but it is Your responsibility to know the duration of the coaching course.
- You will be required to notify us of any medical conditions for anyone participating on our courses.
- You will require a current email address to confirm bookings.
- We reserve the right to amend any terms and conditions within this document.
Payment:
You must book and pay in full for the course you wish to attend. Once payment is received unless you are contacted by a member of staff you place is confirmed (if for example a new player signed up to an advanced course we would contact you to discuss). There are three ways to pay for 10is Academy coaching:
- Online for a term
- DD (only available to existing customers)
- by bank transfer (Pay & Play option)
- Cheque (carries £5 admin charge)
Please note: We do not store credit card details
Payment Guarantees:
Once registered on one of our coaching courses We can guarantee:
- You are assured of Your place for the duration of the term.
- The same coach will run Your sessions, unless unavoidable.
- The appropriate court space and equipment will be provided.
- The coach will provide a safe learning environment to the best of their ability.
Cancellation Policy, Group Coaching:
VERY IMPORTANT. If coaching is cancelled due to bad weather we do not offer any refunds. We do however offer an alternative that sets our business apart. You are able to attend an equivalent class one another day at your club or at any other venue we deliver coaching at. Speak to your coach about other classes that would be right for you/your child. To maintain the high level coaches we have it is vital that a percentage of the earnings is guaranteed. Group coaching allows this to happen. At the same time we want to give value for money and create a fair system to you the customer with our main objective remaining which is to see as many people as possible playing tennis as regularly as they can
- ‘10is Academy’ reserves the right to cancel any session that is under subscribed. If this occurs You will receive a full refund.
- Any session cancelled due to coach unavailability will be made up in the week following the end of the coaching course.
- Refunds are not permitted if any coaching does not occur due to bad weather. Any cancelled sessions will be announced at least 30 minutes before the start of the lesson. Coaching will only be cancelled if the weather is deemed to be unsafe
- ‘10is Academy’ will notify you as soon as possible if a coach is unable to attend a session, and no cover can be sorted.
- If you are unable to attend a coaching session you will not be entitled to a refund.
- Bookings are non-refundable after purchase from ‘10is Academy’. If We are presented with a valid medical certificate declaring the participant unfit to attend We will provide a credit note.
Cancellation Policy, Private Coaching:
- There is no charge to You if more than 48 hours' notice is given for the cancellation of a private lesson.
- If 24-48 hours' notice is given by You for the cancellation of a private coaching session You will be charged 50% of the lesson fee.
- If less than 24 hours' notice is given by You for the cancellation of a private coaching session you will be charged 100% of the lesson fee.
Cancellation/Refund Policy, Schools Coaching:
- ‘10is Academy’ reserves the right to cancel any session that is under subscribed. If this occurs You will receive a full refund.
- You will receive a full refund for any session missed due to coach unavailability.
- ‘10is Academy’ will notify You 24 hours' in advance if a coach is unable to attend a session, and no cover can be sorted.
- If you are unable to attend a coaching session you will not be entitled to a refund.

General 10is Academy Policies:
- ‘10is Academy’ can accept no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to any personal items whilst on our courses.
- You should wear appropriate tennis or sportswear to coaching sessions.
- Only recognised non marking tennis shoes may be worn at during coaching sessions.
- You are responsible for arriving on time for each coaching session. It is also Your responsibility to be on time for collecting younger players, and communicating any changes in pick up methods to ‘10is Academy’.
- Any aggressive actions (verbal/physical) towards our staff, employees or clients will not be tolerated.
We reserve the right to decline access and/or terminate membership to anyone who
- does not comply with our policies.
- is not properly dressed
- is harassing, abusive or causing undue stress to other players or any of our team members (coaching and admin members)
- is being disruptive (this includes customers who are intoxicated)
- has poor hygiene such s extreme body odour or being excessively dirty
- is not able to pay or is already owing payment
You will have no right to a refund in case of decline for the reasons mentioned above.
